Storing & Caching Source Platform Content
Amondo securely stores images and videos on Cloudinary, while textual data is stored on Amazon RDS servers in Ireland. This approach ensures a consistent user experience across platforms while enhancing performance and design.
Why Amondo Stores Content:
Design: Maintaining a consistent look and feel across platforms.
Experience: Allows autoplay and other enhanced user experiences.
Control: Prevents unwanted changes from platform updates.
Performance: Improves page load times compared to multiple embeds.
It's important to note that many Source Platforms permit, and in some cases expect, their partners to store or cache content, as outlined in their respective terms of service:
Twitter/X: Allows storing/caching of content ✅
Facebook: Allows storing/caching of content ✅
Instagram: Allows storing/caching of content ✅
YouTube: Does not allow storing/caching of content ❌
TikTok: Does not allow storing/caching of content ❌
For more information, you can refer to each platform's developer policies.
